Atlas reflects daily walks around Limerick while under 2km lockdown.
Those were days defined by paranoia. Other people became potential threats - factories of production for something seemingly apocalyptic and unknowable. We didn’t know how it spread, it’s effects or how long it would last.
The act of drawing and redrawing the same scene emphasises the ritual of those days as, stripped of jobs or college to choreograph us, we clung to routines.
Atlas has been shown in Field Test, 2020, curated by Aideen Barry, Dog Days, Damer House, 2021, curated by Therry Rudin and Patricia Hurl, Tipperary as well as the Alimón galería Barcelona, curated by Àngels Garcia, and Natalia Foguet
