There is a field mobilizes the iconography of rural Ireland-
the field, the cow and the crow- and chronicle the anxiety and entrapment of
the period from which they were created.

The work is an exploration of place, being produced when living in rural offaly during 5km lockdown. Our lives suddenly geographically impoverished, our physical surroundings took on a new weight.
Living on a farm, the cows, crows and flies became the only lifeforms I would see and became both symbols of entrapment and connection.
The prints were published in Con| finement, Dublin Art Book Fair, 2021
